Stanza 1 (Chancel Choir & Congregation in Unison)
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of Creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation.
All ye who hear, Now to His temple draw near;
Join me in glad adoration
Stanza 2 (Chancel Choir alone)
Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth
Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth!
Hat thou not seen how thy desires e’er have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?
Stanza 3 (Chancel Choir alone in harmonization)
Stanza 4 (Chancel Choir & Congregation in unison)
Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore Him.
All that hath life and breath, Come now with praises before Him.
Let the Amen sound from His people again;
Gladly forever we adore Him. Amen
Invocation (Call to Worship), Choral Amen
Call to Confession
Confession – Almighty and most merciful God, we cast ourselves down before Thee under a deep sense of our unworthiness and guilt. We have grievously sinned against Thee in thought, word and deed. We have come short of Thy
glory. We have broken thy commandments and turned aside every one of us from the way of life and in us there is no soundness nor health. Yet now, O most merciful Father, hear us when we call upon Thee with penitent hearts
and for the sake of thy Son, Jesus Christ, have mercy upon us. Pardon our sins and grant us thy peace. Take away our guilt. Purify us by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit from all inward uncleanliness and make us
able and willing to serve Thee in newness of life to the glory of thy Holy name. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (Choral Amen).
